CHANGE IS COMING!

My name is Dennis Young and I am hoping to be your Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the constituency of Calgary Hays. This area includes the communities of Douglasdale, Douglas Glen, McKenzie, McKenzie Towne (& related communities) and Quarry Park. I wanted to let you know that together we can restore the Alberta Advantage!

Admittedly, I am no expert. I am just a small business owner and family man, frustrated with the way the Alberta government has been operating this province. I have been an individual who believes in less government & lower taxes for many years.

I have fought in the trenches to make a difference and have fought the good fight in various ways. I tried to make a difference for freedom as a soldier in Canada's Army for 12 years. I tried to make a difference as the former leader of the Libertarian Party of Canada. I tried in my efforts as an Executive and founding member of the Alberta Alliance Party. I tried in my efforts to help Ted Morton become leader of the Alberta Progressive Conservative Party. I tried with my support of my personal friend, Danielle Smith in her efforts to become leader of the Wildrose Alliance Party. I tried with my support of Peter Demong on his campaign team to help him become the Alderman in Ward 14 and defeating incumbent Linda Fox-Mellway.

I feel my next effort must be focused on changing the provincial government and eliminating the top down approach so prevalent in the regime of Premier Ed Stelmach and his Alberta Progressive Conservative Party.

Like the Nike slogan says, I need to “Just Do It”. I need to adapt and change. I can no longer be satisfied with simply trying.

Whether it be the destructive Royalty Review, out of control Human Right Commissions, deficit spending or the removal of democratically elected candidates, it is time to take back our province!

The nomination to choose the Wildrose Alliance Party candidate in this area is rapidly approaching and I need your support!
